Angel’s Mother’s Boyfriend is a book that is about meeting new people. This book is by Judy Delton.

Angel’s Mother’s Boyfriend is about a girl named Angel. Her mother got back from a trip and now she is acting weird. Soon Angel realizes that she (her mother) is in love. Rudy is her mother’s boyfriend’s name. He is a kind and funny clown that Angel begins to love. Although she doesn’t like the fact that he took her room. With her little brother, Rags, they realize that their mother isn’t in trouble with the government. How long will Rudy really stay?

I really liked this book because it could be a situation that could be real. My favorite part of this book would have to be when Edna, Rags, and Angel had a Dog Laundry to raise money to help Rag’s and Angel’s mother.

I hope you have alot of time on your hands because if you read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, you won’t be able to put it down.

Dorothy is swept away by a huge cyclone, to a queer land, where she meets a talking scarecrow, who longs for a brain. She also meets a tin woodsman who would “love” a heart and everything he misses loving when he was a human. She meets a great lion, who needs to learn to have courage in himself. Soon the fast friends set out to get their wishes granted by the great Oz, a wizard living in Emerald City.

My favorite part of the book was when Dorothy’s 3 friends talked about what life was like before they met her.

I probably say this about almost all of the books I read, but The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite books. So go get yourself a copy and start on this enchanting tale. I assure you, you’ll love it!

Do you like a good mystery? Time Windows by Kathryn Reiss is the best mystery I’ve ever read. Once you start reading it you won’t be able to put it down.

Miranda is a 13 year old girl who moves from New York to Garnet, Massachusetts. In their new house up in the attic was a dollhouse that looked the exact way the house did. Miranda can see people from the past through the dollhouse windows. One day when Miranda and Dan Hooton, the neighbor, were in the attic they found an air-tight secret hiding place under the attic floor. In the hiding place there was a girl. Could the people in the dollhouse help her find out what happened to her?

My favorite part of the book is when Miranda went to her flute lessons. It is my favorite part because Mrs. Wainwright, Miranda’s flute teacher, told amazing stories about the past before Miranda’s flute lessons.

This book will make you want to read more mysteries. It was a page turning book. I hope you will enjoy reading Time Windows by Kathryn Reiss.

My book is called Swindle by Gordon Korman.

The book is about two boys named Griffen and Ben. They slept over at a supposedly haunted house. Griffen couldn’t sleep so he looked around the house and found a well hidden 1920’s Babe Ruth card that is supposed to be worth millions. They go to a shop and see what the card’s worth and the owner says it’s a copy and gives them 220 dollars. Later they find out that the owner cheated them! So then they plan the ultimate heist to get the baseball card back.

My favorite part of the book is the heist becasue they find out that there is two guard dogs, and one of the dogs can kill.

This book is very exciting and fun. Some parts you won’t even believe! They made a sequel called Zoobreak and I highly recommend reading these books.

I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney. I love Diary of a Wimpy Kid because it captures the reader’s attention.

Rodrick “Gregory’s Big Bro” found out Gregory’s first most embarassing thing that happened to him over summer. Rodrick uses this to use his brother as a slave. Gregory is then forced to do what his brother wants or it will be told to Rodrick’s friends. On October 27, when their parents were out, Rodrick started a high school party. In the morning the secret would be spread. Gregory had to help. Gregory went to the bathroom and a high schooler wrote a message on the back of the door. It read, “Hi Rodrick”. They switched a closet door with it. Their Dad went to the bathroom and noticed the door wouldn’t lock and that it could before and then he said, “I must have lost my marbles”! Ten days later they caught Rodrick throwing the party just because one of his frends taking a picture of the party. At a school talent show Rodrick is preform in his band Loaded Diaper. They don’t get good enough footage because Gregory didn’t tape it so Rodrick let loose the secret and Gregory became a popular kid.

My favorite part is when Gregory sneaks into his friend’s diary.

I hope that everyone who’s read Diary of a Wimpy Part 1 reads this book.

The title of my book is My Sister the Vampire: Switched. The author of my book is Sienna Mercer.

Olivia Abbott moves to a new town. She is excited to join the cheerleading squad and meet new friends. Then she meets Ivy, a Goth girl. They look and act so different from each other, but they find out they are identical twins. So they decide to switch for so many different things like for Olivia to decorate for All Hallows Ball and Ivy to cheerlead.  For a goth girl, she’s a good cheerleader.

My favorite part of the book is when Brendon dances with Ivy at the All Hallows Ball.

Do you need a book that is fascinating? The one that will lure you with thoughts? Then read Sent by Margaret Peterson Haddix. This book is guaranteed to want you to read more. The deeper you get into the book the more juicier the book gets.

Chip, Jonah, and Alex are all historical boys from history. When Chip, Jonah, Alex and Kathrine get sent to the 15th century, they discover that Chip and Alex are actual brothers. They soon find out that Chip and Alex were captured, but what history believes is that Chip and Alex were murdered. Then after 2 years Jonah and Kathrine have to get Chip and Alex out of the 15th century and into the 21st century. But if they don’t get out at the right moment Chip and Alex will die.

My favorite part in the book was when Alex and Chip found out that they were brothers in history. This was my favorite part because I would never have guessed that they were related.

If this book doesn’t attract you, nothing will! I very much enjoyed Sent. This book is going to keep you hooked until the end, which will want you to read it over again.

“A Dream Come True” is an amazing short story from the book Ghosts and Other Scary Stories by Allan Gould and Pat Hancock.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross were looking for the perfect house for Jennifer. You see, ever since the accident they have been looking for a house. One day Jennifer found a house she wanted. It had a big porch, a library, and a huge attic. So they called the real estate agent Mrs. Jackson. But Mrs. Jackson is getting fed up with them. She has been looking at houses for them for 9 months. But when they found a house they want she doesn’t want to sell it to them. She told them it was haunted by children.

Why does Jennifer want to move into a house that is haunted by children?  Read the book and find out!

I like the book very much. I like it when Jennifer found her dream house and some new friends.

If you like books that have fantasy food you should read Magic Pickle and the Planet of the Grapes by Scott Morse. BEWARE of the grapes and Razin.

A girl named JoJo has a hero under her bed, and it is a pickle. The “Magic Pickle” has a bunch of beeping computers that found suspicious activity at the farmers market. When JoJo and a friend get there, someone from school buys a lot of grapes for an invention, but the grapes are evil and 1 is a Razin. Will the Magic Pickle and Jojo defeat the Razin and its grapes?

My favorite part of the book is the part where Razin uses Jarek’s Grape Juice maching to turn everyone into giant grapes, but the Magic Pickle stops them.

Would you like to read a book about how to change a bad fortune into a good fortune? When you read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin you would be as if you really have met a dragon born from a painting! This is filled with details and ideas that you could imagine each story you read would seem real!

People who lived in the fruitless, brown Mountain were always sad, but one is different. Her name is Minli. She has black hair and eye that twinkle with gay. She is on her journey to the Old Man of the Moon to change her fortune. Will the fruitless Mountain become happy or a hopeless place? Read and find out.

My favorite part of the book is when Ba (Chinese word for dad) told a story because his daughter Minli has met all of the people in his story. She met a dragon and the Old Man of the Moon to ask a question about the past or future.

This book is full of adventures with different kinds of stories. You could find Chinese words to find out where they are and why it is the place called that. Once you read the book you will be hooked with a happy ending.

If you like contets then you should read No Talking by Andrew Clements. You will never know what’s going to happen next in this book.

David is a boy who loves to talk. Lynsey is a fifth grade bully and she’s annoying. David says that girls talk way more than boys. So they start up a contest. In the contest they aren’t allowed to talk. The team that loses their captain will get to write a big L on their forehead with a permanent marker. The the principal gets to get the unshushables to talk. The unshushables get to be quiet.

My favorite part was when their principal and all the teachers were trying to get the kids to be loud again, which is crazy because the principal and teachers were all trying to get the unshushables to be quiet. Now they won’t let them be loud again.

If you want to know who gets to have a big L written on their forehead, then you should pick up No Talking by Andrew Clements.

Do you like funny books? Then this is a book for you. The Further Adventures of Hank the Cowdog by John R. Erickson is funny and is great for all Hank the Cowdog fans.

This book is about Hank getting a disease called “Eye-Crosserosis” and his eyes are not becoming unstuck. To make matters worse, he gets beaten up by a dog named Rufus. He must go to see an owl named Madame Moonshine. She knows the cure to this disease. He gets to the cave where she lives and enters. She cures him and he leaves.

I like it when Hank goes back to the ranch and finds out his friend Drover is taunting him with Hank’s enemy Pete the cat. Hank attacks Pete then Drover.

This is an amazing book. It will make you want to read the series.

Do you love to read funny books? Then you need to read The Boys Start the War by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. It’s so funny you’ll laugh your head off.

A group of brothers called the Hatfords best friends the Bensons move to Georgia. The people who rent the Benson’s house are a family with all girls! The girls are constantly trying to stay in Missouri and make the Hatfords move. Will the Bensons come back? Will the Malloy girls move? Read the book to find out.

I liked the part when the Hatford boys bring a ladder and put it under Beth’s window with their masks on. I liked this part because Carline goes to Beth’s room to see why she’s screaming and says, “At least your weren’t naked or something”.

If you don’t laugh you’re crazy! It will be so fun to read it you’ll want to read the whole series.

This book (Captain Underpants and the Preposterousplight of the Purple Potty People) by Dav Pilkey is very exciting. It includes giant evil hamsters (Sulu) and alternate universe, and evil twins!

In it George and Harold go to an alternate universe and find evil George and evil Harold. Instead of Captain Underpants it’s Captain Blunderpants. If you throw water on him he turns evil, if you snap your fingers around him he turns good, the opposite of Captain Underpants. Later Crackers and Sulu are turned evil with the 3-D hypno rings but for some reason it has no effect on Crackers.

My favorite part was when Crackers (good George and Harold’s pet Pterodactyl) swoops in and saves good George and Harold from their evil twins.

Oh no, Tippy TinkleTrousers is back and he has a freeze ray. What will happen?  Read the book and find out!

The Panda Puzzle by Ron Roy is an A to Z Mystery book. The main characters are Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh. This story takes place at the Panda Park.

The Panda Park is getting a new mama panda and her baby. Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh are at the park to see the new pandas. When they open the cage the baby panda is gone. Ruth Rose, Dink and Josh try to find clues to help find the baby panda. They think Flip stole the baby panda.

My favorite part was when they found the trap door under the rag. The kids go down and someone locks them in. They did not know who locked them in.

This was an awesome book. The Panda Puzzle was my favorite A to Z Mystery book. I know you will enjoy this book if you choose to read it.
