EduTech is delighted to have Paul Jensen on board as of July 1st. He is our Southeast Region Information Technology Specialist.
We are in the midst of planning for our Fall Visits and gearing up for August workshops. Contact your regional representative with questions or to schedule a workshop.
Another thing we are looking forward to is 1,2,3 Jazz Videoconferencing Workshop 2010, which will be held in Bismarck next summer. This is a professional development opportunity for any teacher interested in learning Web 2.0 Tools and Curriculum integrated videoconferencing possibilities.

IDEA (North Dakota Instructional Design and Educational Advocacy)

Attending the 2nd IDEA meeting. I did an introduction to EduTech. Beth Klingenstein, VCSU Music Faculty did a presentation on Teaching Music in the Blogosphere.
We are having discussions about where this organization is headed. I am excited about the networking possibilities with college faculty around the state!

Current “Things” on EduTech’s Plate

After doing a session on the importance of blogs at NDATL I thought I’d better get cracking and put my fingers where my mouth is!
On my plate and mind these past few weeks have been a smorgasbord of things including including EduMail Advanced, Blogs@EduTech, (contact Regional Representative for training) STAGEnet, SecondLife Possibilities, and 1,2,3 Jazz VC. These are just a few things going on at EduTech that I am directly involved with along with coordinating the scheduling of Professional Development sessions around our great state of ND.
As you have ideas for PD classes ND educators would benefit from please comment here. We value your input greatly!
