Council Goals

The goals of the Council are to:

  • Plan programs which will inspire teachers to give the best of themselves as they work daily with the students in our schools.
  • Provide activities and opportunities to help students experience the joy of reading, along with the competency of reading at their ability level.
  • Provide new ideas that can be taken back to the classroom.
  • Strive to interest parents in the use of reading as a wholesome and enjoyable activity they can share with their children.
  • Support the NDRA and IRA goals.
